Thanksgiving Prayer
| As we gather to count the Lords blessing on
this the 377th celebration of Thanksgiving, we want to give thanks for the family; mothers
and fathers, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, children, grandparents, cousins and
friends. And for the " Life " in our
lives; for hot tubs and Hondas', Minnehaha falls and Mercedes for the Wildcats and just
plain cats. For sunshine and sunsets, for golf and girlfriends, books, basketball and
boyfriends. For Autumn in Wisconsin and Christmas in San Diego, for Beverly Hills and
Bertha. For brown hair, beards and babies.
We are grateful for the abundance of our world; for
Parkside and St. Pats, silicone chips, science and Sony, Minneapolis, Milwaukee and
Modine, Crome Tek, Twin Disc and BLI. And for the intangibles in our lives that we can't
touch, but touch us each day; elections and electricity, travels and trials, health,
happiness and home, E-mail and inner peace. |
