I met Crystal on IRC in 1995 and we've kept in touch through email now and then or ICQ since then.

I've known Karrie Ann since second grade, and gone to the same school as her most of grade school, middle school, and high school. 

I met Neil freshman year of high school working on a research project.  He has been my best friend since then.

The Sony Man.  He is basically an 'uncle' to my whole family.  He is a professor at UW-Parkside and has known Tony (my step dad) for years.
